Emceeing CTAConf ‘18 & ‘19

For two years I’ve had the privilege to emcee the largest marketing summit in North America alongside the incredibly charming Ryan Engley. Each year Unbounce welcomes a thousand marketers to the largest theatre venue in Canada and showcases the very best speakers in the marketing space. Getting to represent our team in this way has been one of the highlights of my career to date.

podcast interview with CoSchedule

Click Andy’s tweet below to listen to a podcast interview on how we run content at Unbounce.
Eric and I chat about:

  • Content strategy: as driven by the organization’s overall strategy, needs, and best practices

  • Balance and alignment: how do you drive your business goals & prioritize the right content?

  • The importance of setting a foundation, creating your funnel, and enabling content services

  • Content updates vs. never-ending creation.

  • Regaining organic traffic

If podcasts about content strategy are your thing, here’s another episode in which I talk shop with Tristan Pelligrino of Tech Qualified by Motion.

Experience Inbound 2019

I was also really fortunate to speak at Experience Inbound 2019. Here’s what attendees of my session had to say, emphasis mine:

Best breakout I attended by far. She had useful, actionable NEW tips that didn’t require subscribing [to new software].”

Outstanding talk - really practical. Engaging presentation, and I enjoyed meeting her afterwards at lunch”

“I really liked her presentation. I thought she spoke well and provided valuable examples. Her sense of humour made it more enjoyable and I could relate better than some of the other presentations”

“GREAT presentation. Engaging and really amazing information. I’ve already started planning out my business’ website revamp based on techniques she discussed.”

“Great presentation - lots of great takeaways, excellent presenter.”

Wisita’s CouchCon 2018

  • I'd been meaning to start sharing more marketing learnings, and creating more scrappy videos, and this was great for both.

  • Huge thanks to Ty Lingley and Margot Mazur for extending this opportunity my way, and to Maggie Crowley for help confirming all the campaign details.
