Today I build and lead teams to scale content engines. I’ve done this most recently for Shogun in the ecommerce space, Unbounce, and I was one of the first to build buzz and brand awareness for Vidyard, a video marketing platform.
I love articulating differentiated value, creative brand execution, and variety.
To date I’ve been fortunate to work on everything from editorial and GTM strategy, to customer adoption, rebrands, site overhauls, original research, pricing changes, style guides—you name it!

Sure, you can create content, but I can tell you exactly what you should create, go back and refresh, (or whether you should be blogging at all*gasp*). It’s not about publishing for the sake of it—it’s about what you prioritize (efficiently) and the business result.
Positioning & MESSAGING is my jam
I help teams distill complex stuff down into real talk. Nobody wants a “synergized automation solution” (yikes) but they do want “an invisible sidekick competitors can’t beat”. I ask questions from the lens of an ideal prospect to get clear on what we’re sellin’.
VIDEO CAN BE TOUGH. I HELP MAKE IT EASy
Everybody wants slick brand videos, but if they don’t jive with your positioning—or their purpose isn’t clear—they aren’t worth your investment. I’ve produced dozens of videos and can pass on hard-won lessons for shoot days and beyond.

As employee 25 at Vidyard in true work-in-a-loft startup days and employee ~50 at Unbounce as we’ve scaled to ~200, I’ve been exposed to the marketing tactics and marketers considered best in the biz.
I STUDIED THE ART OF PERSUASION (NO, REALLY)
I could have become THE Dr. Pepper, but instead I have an Honours Arts & Business degree from the University of Waterloo in ‘rhetoric & professional writing’. Sadly this involved analyzing many ancient texts and absolutely no re-runs of Mad Men.
